 "This is a Robbery!"
« Thread Started on Sept 28, 2009, 5:58pm »

At those words, gasps and shrieks were let out.

"Everyone on the floor!" a gruff voice commanded from the dark depths of his hooded sweatshirt. He shot a bolt of energy at the ceiling, burning a hole in it. The power got knocked out. He must have hit the cables.

Two other hooded figures flanked the man, arms raised and wands pointed menacingly. The bank teller bolted for the emergency switch, the button to set the alarms off and call the cops. The robbers were quicker in their spell exsecution, though. A chain of lighting zapped at the counter, the ceiling, the wall and the bank teller. Stunned, the teller slumped to the floor.

"Everyone calm down," said one of the robbers. "Let's make this as quick and easy as possible. No one has to get hurt. Get in our way, however, and-- well. It won't be pleasant."

Muffled cries, heavy breathing and quiet whispers were all around. The innocents huddled together on the floor, following orders to stay low and immobile.

"I think I can take this one," whispered one man, young and buff. His girlfriend shook her head, "No, no! Just lie low. Let them come and go."

"Quiet down there," said a robber, patrolling the area and making sure no one was coming into the bank. The other two had moved in the back, beyond the counter and towards the vaults. They shot lethal spells at any guards who opposed them.

"No, I think I can take him," said the guy, shifting in his crouch position on the floor. "I'm going for it. ARRGH!!" He lunged for the lone robber, sending him to the floor. They tumbled, sparks flying out of the robber's wand uncontrollably all the while. A fist fight ensued once the wand got knocked out of his hand.

Where do you fit into the situation? Are you just now coming across this scene, or have you already been sucked into it?

It's an Open Thread. Anyone can roleplay.

'Well, have I picked a rather exciting day to come to the bank.... I knew I should have done this last week....'

A robbery? Ha, these young ones had no bloody clue what they were doing. Had she been the person running this little operation all the civilians would be dead and not lying on the floor, quivering in fear. Azreal, hidden underneath the thick black cape, a precaution against the dim sunlight today, smirked as she 'obediently' laid herself down on the floor. The vampyress was just biding her time until she saw the right moment, albeit playing the hero would be odd for her, she was always the villain in these situations once upon a time.

"I think I can take this one,"

Azreal's eyes quickly darted in the direction of the foolish male. True he was quite sizable and no doubt strong by human standards, but he was wandless and no doubt without the will to kill someone. In a state of mild amusement, the vampyress watched as a fist fight ensued and the wand was knocked out of the robber's hand.

'Perfect chance!' Azreal thought and with speed almost too hard to trace, she was off the ground and scooping up the wand. She tucked it into the waistband of her jeans, it would be safe there, concealed under her cloak for the most part.

'Now, to play hero.... and have a little fun in the process, no?'

"I will be taking charge now boy." Azreal said rather coldly to the man that had taken it upon himself to attempt to help out. This situation would no doubt turn very sticky soon, the other robber must have heard the commotion and on their way to investigate. That meant that she needed a hostage or her own.

A vice-like grip clamped unto the arm of the robber, dragging him out of the fight. The other hand gripped the hair at the top of his head and wrenched it backward, exposing his neck. Azrel released his hand long enough to retrieve the dagger she almost always kept on her person and held it to a very sensitive area of the male anatomy, smirking all the while.

"Now, sweetheart, I am very hungry and you my dear look something akin to my next meal." she breathed in seductive tone, nuzzling her face in his neck. "But such an unpleasant thing, like me draining your body of all blood, or cutting of a certain appendage can be avoided...." she kissed his neck and nipped at it, she could practically hear his heart beat picking up.... was it fear, or arousal? Did it matter? No. But, oh how she had missed doing things like this.

Being a vampyre with a soul, she no longer drank human blood, so her little threat about draining him was quite empty - but that part about cutting his manhood off, not so much. She really wasn't going to eat him, but he didn't know that.

"Have your friends set the innocents free and you get to keep me as, collateral. Do we have a deal?" she chuckled, clearly amused by this entire situation, this was all just a very fun game to her, the hooded figure in black.
